About the Advanced Cancer-Aware Health Screening – Women 60+

Our Advanced Cancer-Aware Health Screening – Women 60+ is available at St Paul's Medical and Dental, 5 Ave Maria Lane, London EC4M 7AQ. Located near St Paul's Cathedral in the City of London, our clinic offers convenient access for professionals working in the Square Mile. This screening includes 38 biomarkers with results available in 2 working days, priced at £549 inclusive of blood draw by a registered nurse.

Cancer risk generally increases with age, and men over 60 face higher statistical risk for several cancer types. This comprehensive screening measures multiple tumour markers to provide a broad assessment of cancer-related biomarkers. It includes PSA for prostate health, CEA which can be associated with bowel and other cancers, and AFP which is relevant to liver health, among other markers. Each marker is evaluated in the context of age-appropriate reference ranges.

This screening is designed as a surveillance tool and does not replace cancer-specific investigations such as imaging or biopsy when indicated. Tumour markers can be elevated due to non-cancerous conditions, and normal levels do not exclude cancer. The value of multi-marker screening lies in establishing baselines and identifying changes that may warrant further clinical assessment. Results are provided with a detailed nurse-written review to help contextualise findings.

Our City of London clinic is open Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The clinic is a short walk from St Paul’s Underground station (Central line) and City Thameslink rail station. Appointments are available throughout the day, and results include a detailed nurse-written review.
