The idea

A structured look at how your body is running

A Full Body MOT groups laboratory markers by system so that one appointment answers the questions a GP would otherwise spread across several.

Each tier draws a single blood sample and reports it in sections: cells and haemoglobin, liver enzymes, kidney chemistry and electrolytes, cholesterol fractions, sugar control, thyroid, iron. The higher tiers add vitamins, insulin resistance, inflammation and sex-specific markers. Every result is shown against its reference range with anything outside it flagged for you to raise with your GP or a clinician.

  • One draw, one report

Several tubes from a single needle; everything reported together.

  • Two working days

Most markers back within 48 hours; vitamins and cardiac assays may add a day.

  • Self-referral

Choose the tier and book directly; no GP referral is needed.

  • Accredited laboratory

Samples are analysed by a UKAS-accredited partner laboratory.

  • Wear sleeves that roll up easily; the draw is from the arm.
  • Skip vitamin or iron supplements on the morning of the test.
  • Keep a note of any symptoms to mention when you discuss the report with your GP or a clinician.

Full Body MOT FAQs

It is shorthand for a structured set of blood tests grouped by body system — blood, liver, kidneys, fats, sugar, thyroid, iron — reported together with reference ranges and any values outside them flagged. There is no imaging or physical examination in the packages themselves.
Until we open

Need an appointment before 1 October 2026?

The same clinical team already works from two other Medical & Dental clinics. Book at either one now and, if you prefer, move your ongoing care to Wimpole Street once the doors open.

Medical testing is self-referral: no GP referral is needed and we do not provide clinical interpretation of results. Please discuss your laboratory report with your GP or a clinician. Medical services at Wimpole Street are for patients aged 16 and over. Registration with the CQC is in progress ahead of opening.
