19 nurse-led screening packages will run from 22 Wimpole Street from 1 October 2026. Each combines a structured appointment with a themed set of laboratory markers and ends in a laboratory report delivered to your secure portal. Prices are all-inclusive, and every package below links to a page listing exactly what is measured.

The appointment
Forty minutes, three parts
Screening is more than a blood draw. The measurements recorded by the nurse give you, and the GP or clinician you share the report with, the context needed to read the numbers sensibly. The nursing team is led by Precious Agbonmamwen, Registered Adult Nurse (NMC 20H1641E), who oversees sample-taking standards and infection control.

History and measurements
A lifestyle and medical questionnaire, then blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, BMI, oxygen saturation and peak flow for the full-body tiers.

Blood draw
The nurse takes the tubes required for your package in one draw. Fasting packages are easiest first thing so you can eat straight afterwards.

Laboratory report
Laboratory results are released through your secure portal alongside your nurse-recorded measurements, with each value shown against its reference range. Take the report to your GP or a clinician for interpretation.

Medical testing is self-referral: no GP referral is needed and we do not provide clinical interpretation of results. Please discuss your laboratory report with your GP or a clinician. Medical services at Wimpole Street are for patients aged 16 and over. Registration with the CQC is in progress ahead of opening.
Questions
Screening questions
A blood test answers one question with one or a few markers. A screening package is a structured check: a questionnaire, physical measurements such as blood pressure and BMI where relevant, a broader set of laboratory markers chosen around a theme, and a written report that puts the results in context.
Allow about forty minutes for a full-body package and twenty for a targeted screen. Most of the time is spent on measurements and the conversation with the nurse; the blood draw itself takes a few minutes.
Nobody at the clinic — this is a self-referral service. The laboratory report is released to your secure portal with each value shown against its reference range and anything outside it flagged. Please discuss the report with your GP or a specialist, particularly if a value is flagged or you have symptoms.
Health screening at Wimpole Street is for patients aged 16 and over. We do not offer medical services to under-16s; families should speak to their NHS GP.
Packages that include glucose or a full cholesterol profile require fasting for eight to twelve hours; water is fine. Wear something with sleeves that roll up. Bring a list of any medication you take.
If you have no particular concern, start with Basic or Advanced Full Body MOT. If a specific area worries you, such as heart risk, hormones, bone density or a family history of cancer, the targeted screens go deeper into that area for a lower price.
Cancer risk screens measure blood markers associated with particular cancers. A raised marker does not diagnose cancer and a normal one does not rule it out; the value is in flagging when further investigation is worthwhile. The report is explicit about this.
