Mimi Bell is a dental hygienist with many years in practice, and she joins Medical & Dental specifically for the Wimpole Street clinic in Marylebone. Her role is the one most patients will encounter most regularly: the routine hygiene visit that keeps teeth clean, gums healthy and small problems from becoming large ones.

Her appointments follow a consistent pattern. She begins by checking gum health and noting any bleeding or pocketing, then removes plaque, tartar and surface staining, and finishes by talking through what she found. Rather than issuing generic instructions, she tailors home-care advice to what she has actually seen in your mouth, whether that is a particular interdental brush size, a change to brushing technique, or simply reassurance that things are stable.
