91 sexual health tests will be available at 22 Wimpole Street from 1 October 2026: 7 combined screens and 84 single-infection tests. Prices are fixed and shown before you book. Testing is strictly confidential and open to patients aged 16 and over.

Medical testing is self-referral: no GP referral is needed and we do not provide clinical interpretation of results. Please discuss your laboratory report with your GP or a clinician. Medical services at Wimpole Street are for patients aged 16 and over. Registration with the CQC is in progress ahead of opening.
Questions
Sexual health pricing questions
Only those that need blood: HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B and C, and herpes antibody tests. Chlamydia, gonorrhoea, trichomonas and most other bacterial infections are detected from urine or a self-taken swab, and no £50 fee applies. A combined screen that includes a blood-borne infection attracts the fee once.
Yes, once you want more than two infections checked. The screens are priced as a set and the laboratory processes the samples together. If you have a single known exposure, one targeted test will be the lower-cost route.
It includes a short pre-test conversation with the nurse, the sample collection, laboratory analysis and delivery of the laboratory report to your secure portal. It does not include a consultation or treatment: we do not interpret results, so a positive report should be taken to a sexual health service or your GP.
Testing is strictly confidential. Your results are held in your clinic record and released to you only. Nothing is shared with your GP or anyone else unless you ask us to, or in the rare situations where the law requires it.
Medical services at Wimpole Street, including sexual health testing, are for patients aged 16 and over. Photo ID is checked at your first visit.
