Number of teeth
The dominant variable. Each tooth is priced individually, so a single chipped incisor sits at the bottom of the range and a full set of eight at the top.
Composite bonding at Wimpole Street is priced per tooth, from £395, and that figure covers everything involved in treating that tooth: shade matching, surface preparation, the layered build-up, bite check and polish. Because bonding is done by hand at the chair with no laboratory stage, the cost is driven almost entirely by how many teeth are treated and how much work each one needs, which makes it one of the easier cosmetic fees to estimate before you arrive. This guide sets out our price list for Marylebone, explains what pushes a case towards the top or bottom of the range, lists what is and is not included, and puts the figures in the context of what bonding tends to cost across central London.

The dominant variable. Each tooth is priced individually, so a single chipped incisor sits at the bottom of the range and a full set of eight at the top.
A sliver on an edge takes half an hour. Rebuilding a corner that involves the biting edge and the side of the tooth, or closing a gap that needs both neighbours reshaped, takes longer and uses more material.
For four or more teeth we usually design the result on a model first and transfer it with a silicone key. This planning is built into the multi-tooth fees.
Not part of the bonding fee. If you want lighter teeth, whitening at £399 comes first so the resin can be matched to the new shade.
Old, stained composite has to be stripped back before new resin is placed. This adds time and is reflected in the quote.
Patients who grind need a night guard, from £185, if the bonding is to last. It is quoted separately and is optional, but we will say clearly if we think it is needed.
Bonding for one or two teeth is usually paid on the day. For six- or eight-tooth plans, many patients prefer to spread the fee, and we can arrange interest-free instalments over up to twelve months for treatment above a minimum value. As an illustration, a six-tooth plan at £2,370 over twelve months would be £197.50 a month with nothing added.
You can also stage treatment clinically: whiten first, bond the two teeth that bother you most, and add the rest later. Because resin is repairable and colour-matched at each visit, staging does not compromise the eventual result.
Finance is subject to status and terms apply. Medical and Dental Limited is a credit broker, not a lender. Representative examples are illustrations only and your own terms are confirmed in writing before you sign.
Across central London, composite bonding is commonly quoted somewhere between £250 and £600 per tooth, with practices in the W1 medical district tending towards the upper half of that spread. Very low headline prices often turn out to be for a single tiny edge repair, or exclude the examination, review and polish.
Our fee of £395 per tooth sits in the middle of the London range and is identical at all three Medical & Dental clinics. What we would encourage you to compare is not the per-tooth figure alone but what it covers: layered rather than single-shade resin, a planned design for multi-tooth cases, a follow-up polish and a dentist who will tell you if fewer teeth would do.
